I have some brief concert footage of BODY COUNT, EXODUS and DRI in Toronto in late 1992 from that tour.

The tour with Black Sabbath was during October/November 1992. Skrew Siskin was also on the bill. Exodus also played on the Slamfest with Body Count/DRI/Pro-Pain during December 1992/January 1993. Then they played 2 shows in Argentina in April 1993 with Chris Kontos on drums. They played some shows in Japan in May 1993 with Gannon Hall on drums.

Aside from some other one-offs during 1992-1993, that was all the touring for the FOH period. And as you already know the November 1993 gig with Tom Hunting on drums and both singers was their final show from that era.

As Pooh mentioned, they played only one gig with RHCP. This was in Oakland, July 1990. That was the first show after Impact Is Imminent was recorded (just a one-off, not part of a tour).

Doug, I have the July 1990 show, I'll send that to you.

As for the London gig, yes, that was in February 1992. That was the first show of the FOH era, they played that during the recording sessions for the album (first show in fact in over a year, they didn't play any gigs at all in 1991). It was also Mike Butler's first show with the band. I have never come across a bootleg from this show. Bootlegs from the Impact/Force years are hard enoguh to come across as it is.

BTW I remember some guy on this board had gone to that London show...

Pooh, they played Petaluma as a one-off after the Slamfest...headlining? Was Tempesta on drums? Who were the other bands on the bill?

Doug, yes that is the show.

I have a full Exodus show on dvd( 6 songs) when they opend for Body Count in Hollywood.
It was Rikki Rackmanns B-day party. Rikki came out and sang on Free For All with Exodus. I think Tempesta was on drums. I`ll have to look.
Date:6-29-92

Do you have a scan of that review? Don’t think I’ve ever read it. I’ve read an interview from Thrash n’ Burn or possibly Metal Forces even from around recording time, just before the gig, with Zetro. Oh yeah, he mistakenly mentions that the Marquee gig is the first overseas gig for Mike and John. Mike’s yes. But John played in Japan in December 1990…maybe he meant to say first European gig, but anyways, I’m a detail nerd LOL.

FANTASTIC dude! Now why the hell were you holding out on a black man - woman for this long?! *lol* Bitch! *lol* I’ve never seen footage of this era and this was KILLER. I think “Force” is the weakest song on the album but that clip is SO CRUSHING, it’s totally changed my opinion of the song. And their stage presence is badass. Compare that to DNA show from 2004 and there’s a world of difference! Sure they’re old men now (3/5 of the lineup common among those 2 shows) but still! *lol*

How many people do you think were at that gig? Also, do you have footage of any of the other bands?

Quote:
slackdaddy: The show was at the Palace in Hollywood, yes it was fag Rikki's party but holy hell!!!! White Zombie, Pantera, Exodus & Body Count. by far one of the coolest fucking shows I have ever attended!!!!!

slackdaddy: but back on topic, I also attended the show at the Anaconda in Santa Barbara the night the Rodney King riots erupted. The Organization (Death Angel) and Exodus. FOH club kickoff tour or some shit. Only a good 45 people attended. I am waiting on a buddy of mine from LA to send me the footage he took that night. I know there was footage of us partying w/ the bands before and after the show but I'm not sure if he shot any of the show. Tharsh, if you need dates for these shows, let me know.

That was just a short handful of dates around California wasn’t it? I know Jerry shot the show at the One Step Beyond at Santa Clara on May 2nd. The Santa Barbara show you’re talking about should be April 29th (do confirm though). 45 people, man that is SAD…see if your bud taped the gig…

OK, OK, don’t misunderstand now. The London show wasn’t part of any “tour”, it was just a one-off date. I meant the first show during the FOH years was the London gig. It was their first show since December 1990, it was their first show with new material, their first show with their new bassist…

Quote:
BangkokB: Paging Tharsh: Was Architect of Pain ever played for that tour or any other?

Never been played. I dunno how far back the board’s archives go but I did a thread once on what Exo-songs have never been played live and Gary confirmed a bunch. This was maybe 3 years ago LOL.

I could only find my Merrilville, IN, 1992-11-28 boot (opening for Sabbath), the setlist was the same as you posted, minus Dirty Deeds. Wonder if they changed the set much supporting Body Count, never heard any boots from that tour.

Quote:
pflinger: I will find my ticket stub . I don't know who was on drums since I was drunk as shit that night and that was also many years ago. I am almost sure SKITZO was one of the openers but not sure

Holler when you have it, cheers. Should be Tempesta...as far as I know Gannon and Chris only played 1 show each locally (in April 1993) before they did Japan (May 1993) and Argentina (April 1993) respectively...Gannon in San Jose (Cactus Club) and Chris in San Francisco (Trocadero).

Dmegametal#1!!!: HEY pflinger..you know anyone who has a shitload of Exodus bootlegs that we don't already have..mostly from the early days 82-92..if you mention Soppe..already dealt with him!!!

I think you’re doing very well yourself! *lol* I don’t think Soppe or Laurent Ramadier care much for any Exodus beyond 1982-1986 and 1997-1998 *lol* At least Laurent doesn’t, he only likes Baloff Exodus *lol*

I think Exodus should do like what Slayer did on their 'Soundtrack...' box set; put out a compilation DVD w/live footage from throughout their existence. Of course don't include already released (Ultimate Revenge, both Dynamo shows w/PB, Live at the DNA) shows/footage or footage from planned/upcoming releases (ALIV).
