You'd do well with stand up comedy Rob. That is something that even I have always wanted to do. But living in the sticks doesn't give me many places to go. But I know you'd do well at it. You're a riot on the DVD.

Rob, you deliver punch lines during Exodus shows that are great. More of that would be cool.

Thanks for sharing the blog Rob. Always interesting to hear your tales especially this one about the cool tattoo artists you hang out with over in the US. You sound like you really are living the life man! All that hard work is paying off!!! Fair play to ya!!! Looking forward to hearing more stuff in the future...

Great blog Rob! Thank you for sharing it with us!
Have you thought about pursuing a career in stand-up comedy fulltime after you're done singing and playing in the music biz?

Great article, but that doesn't surprise me. Rob is rapidly becoming the Bruce Dickinson of thrash metal...a multi-talented Individual: singer, songwriter, video/DVD co-producer/director, writer (or should I say blogger?), stand up comedian (well, that last one's to come, I guess).

I'm sure this has been brought up a lot over the years, but why did Dukes give up drinking? I'm sure that question to Rob is like asking Gary about Kirk Hammett lol.

I think I've read somewhere that Rob drank pretty much all the time during his younger years (correct me if I'm wrong), and then I can understand that he wants to live sober and having more control, and the life not passing by so fast as it does when you drink constantly.. though nothing beats a cold beer after a tough day ..

I quit drinking and doing drugs 17 years ago. I ended up in jail a lot and pretty much ruined my life. It's my opinion that I'm way better off without it, I have accomplished so much in my life that I have wanted to do, and before I quit drinking I only talked about what I wanted to do. It's that simple for me.

If you get into trouble all the time drinking or doing drugs then quitting is the best thing to do. so Cheers to Rob for doing what he felt was best for him.

I'm proud to say that I never smoked, did drugs, or even drink beer or alcohol on a constant basis. If I do any drinking, it's only for special occasions and those moments are far and few between. When I go to a bar with friends, they sometimes give me shit when I ask for glass of water instead of getting a beer. I tell them to go fuck themselves - let me enjoy life the way I want, even if it means not getting into drugs or alcohol.
I'd rather play it safe and do things that won't harm me than harming myself with that kind of garbage.

I know I'm young, but I've decided to steer clear of hard liquor and drugs and the likes. I've seen firsthand what that kind of shit can do to an innocent bystander, and their family. It's gruesome. I mean I like to have a few beers now and again, maybe smoke out of a bong or pack a bowl, but that's as far as I'll ever go. Judgment goes out the window when your hammered off your ass, so anything can happen. More power to ya Rob! Can't wait for a new read, and maybe you could throw in a joke or two!

Good for you guys...Rob, Rado, ED24, NickTheMetalKid...etc
My old man fucked his life up with coke, so I learned at a very early age to stay away from the shit. He lost everything, his job, his family, his freedom, and eventually his life. So if there's anything positive I can take from his brief existence, it's the fact that I didn't want to end up like him~ And for the record, I would never judge anyone for what they do...to each his own. This is just my personal choice.
But...I gotta agree with my man The Joker, a cold beer after a tough day is right up my alley! Cheers Bro!

I am in awe how Exodus stays in contact with board members and all the interviews they do. I don't think any other bands put in as much effort as Exodus does. Thanks for all that you guys do.

Cheers Bro! or two.. or three.. or four.. cheers, man.. my point it, it desn't matter if you get a little wasted every now and then, as long as if it's for having good times with people (you only live once).. but though have control over the drinking and stay away from abstinence shit.. I'm working out a lot right now so to be honest I don't drink very often at the moment

Did you guys check out the new blog? I found it really interesting to hear Rob's story of an Exodus show when he was younger. I feel bad for reading it almost a month late, but it was still good. Also the Darth Vader tattoo is fucking sickkkk!!! Can't wait to read this month's!

Rob and Gary were troopers for filling in the blanks on various questions or banter to back and forth. Stand up guys. I'll eat my hat if Z does that because he seems a bit long in the tooth to understand the intrawebs.
It's a difficult convoluted process. You have to log on. Read shit that's in English. Possibly answer questions. I see it as challenging as flying an airplane.
I do like that Gary666 throws his hat in the ring on occasion. That's joint. eXodus is my favorite band board since MCA passed away. Thanks Gary for spending some time here when you get around to it.
