I think this album really sucks! Too much swedish melodies for one album. It's not sound as aggresive as Kreator should.

Kreator is great musically, but the singer's voice grates on my nerves.... Just my opinion.

The new kreator album has a great sound but the songs are so childish and with the same classic structure..

The songs on the new record are there, but I didn't like the live feel as much. I was hoping for a much more polished sound, like the production value on Enemy Of God. But that's just me.

Maybe you are mistaking by saying "childish"
The song "Hordes of Chaos" is the IMO the best track on the new album
I wouldn't call it childish
I think childish would be more like tunes by kittie.... *banghead*

what are you people on meth?
the new KREATOR is awesome!!!!!!!!!!
oh and its pointess to mention HORDES OF CHAOS in this thread since it WAS NOT PRODUCED BY ANDY SNEAP
check the dvd version of the cd out (only $2.00 extra)
shows you the process they went through to do this album.
no click tracks, and everyone playing together to get a raw, LIVE like feel.
The sound is damn good, and the album is killer!!!!!!!!
but, again....the album was not produced by ANDY
it was produced by Moses Schneider

Again, the songs are there, but I don't like the live sound on it. I think it loses some of its power if it's done with a live feel, unless it really did work. Here, not as much though.

organic? you guys are nuts...why would you NOT want the cleanest sounds? i dont understand why you would want it to sound live, live albums are not even live...nothing is live, it sounds so much better when its tight and loud and seperated and clean...i listen to cd's because tapes sound like shit...but like I say all the time to all you guys on the web...it's just MY opinion...i want crisp, clean sounds, not mud,and i definitley like it better when it's played tight as fuck...i want to hear every drum hit, every guitar note...this organic live thing...leave that in the 80's

Rob is the only person not talking shite on this thread!!!
What Sneapy has done for the Exodus sound on ALIV, TOTD, SHKM & TAE is what no other producer has done in music...period! The sound is like a musical muscle car!!! *banger*
I just can't believe that Metallica chose Rubin to do Death Magnetic! Cos if they'd have done their home work and picked Sneap then imagine how much better those songs would have sounded on record???!!!
(BTW - Ted, I do love Death Magnetic)

I hope that they do chose Sneap to do the next record. Let's be honest, Rubin, despite his name being on there as producer, didn't really do much producing at all. He left that up to his team to do the job for him. He was just there to guide the band to where they should be going. If they chose Rubin again, I just hope they don't let the same team work on the mixing. Sneap should be chosen for that task...if not, producing the record as a whole. I'm sure that Sneap could take them to a really good place!

When i say organic i dont mean "muddy " i mean "less surgical" Less "operating room where everything is sterile" more "hot rod garage"
Probably no one understands me.
"TAE" IMO is too "polished" I prefer the "greasier" production of SHKM
That is what i mean by organic.
I want tight, I want loud and crispy, but i want it to have grease slabs sticking it all together. Not muddy, just fatter. TAE IMO has extreme crispy sound but every instrument is far apart, the "grease" factor that SHKM has is missing...

well ogrus...i guess we all like what we like...but i think the so called polished sound of TAE is what every band should strive for...leave the organic sounds to jam bands

And I think Sneap has definitely accomplished that for every Exodus record that he has worked on, so far, starting with Tempo all the way to now. I think he's one of the best things that has shaped Exodus into the beasts that they are now, so I am looking forward to seeing what magic he can polish up with you guys for TAE - EB. All I ask is that TAE-EB, Rob, is a monster. And I'm sure you guys will deliver on that!

Who is talking bout "bad sound"? I never mentioned bad sound, man, dont confuse "organic" with bad sound....
Devin Townsend is a master of "Organic" and SYL albums fuckin rip and are crystal clear. Listen to a song like "You Suck" during the chorus... that is organic!
Organic IS NOT "LIve Sound" its "Alive Sound"

I hated his production on lamb of god's As The Palace's Burn album!!! Only 2nd to St. Wang-er itself!!!
Sneap is the master producer, just look at the different bands he's added his touch to and you can't deny he is the best metal producer in the biz!!! *banger*
All I know is that the next Exodus album is in safe hands with him behind the desk!!! *beerbang* *beerbang* *beerbang* *beerbang*

I also don't like or even enjoy the production on Palaces. That's one album they need to re-do from scratch. That and New American Gospel.
