Never really liked this band much, but this new song sound pretty killer. A cross between Slayer and Overkill.

Katon is a really nice and down to earth guy. He's very much old school also. Hirax played Tidal Wave here the same eyar Exodus did. I didn't know him at the time. I was shocked though that he recognized me from MySpace.

Hirax hasn't played in the Bay Area since 2009. They seem to play more often in South America where metal is bigger.

^^ Yeah is sucks that metal isn't big in the US. There hasn't been a metal show that I've wanted to see in Tampa for at least 2 years or the couple that I wanted to see I didn't want to pay the ridiculous ticket price.

Tampa used to be known for a thriving death metal scene. I can't remember or not if it made the top 10 list for best metal scenes in the USA.

Manowar (not a fan) played here recently for $100 per ticket. I wouldn't have paid that even if I was a fan.
