The Ultra Violence. It is the only one which is a balls out thrash album. Could never understand why they chose to have glam fag Davy Vain of the band Vain produce their first 2 records. I think he started to glam them a bit on "Frolic" and they lost the hard thrash edge of "Ultra".

Ultraviolence. That album kicked ass. I remember the first time I saw "voracious souls' on MUCH Music. I was floored!!! and then they were saying that Andy was only 14!!!

Fuck. I was 16 and felt I had wasted my life away!!!!

The Ultra-Violence

a thrash masterpiece. And the fact they were so young still blows my mind away today.

if i could rate them

ULTRA VIOLENCE 9/10 for thrashers only
FROLIC THROUGH THE PARK 8,5/10 (some awesome songs on it, but don´t like the production, wish they could remix it)
ACT III 10/10 one of my alltime favs
THE ART OF DYING 8,5/10 a good return but someting is missing

hope the guys will make another record, Rob Cavestany rules *beerbang*

I gotta go with Act III, I feel that it is DA's most versatile work. Thrash along with soulful and really groovey tunes. Not a bad song on the cd.

I actually love the first 3 albums alot..esp. the thrashiness of "the ultraviolence"...Hard to believe Andy Galleon was only 14 on that album!!!Even today they are still relatively young for a reformation act.
I never heard anything past "act III" though I must say.

Ultra V for me, too, but I have to agree with some of the other comments, specifically the production on Frolic. *nono* I'd have to put Art of Dying a close second, some of the tunes on there are great...
