U.S. only. Rounded to nearest 1,000 or 100 when applicable. Sales through clubs such as BMG aren't included. *'s indicate that an album was release prior to 5/25/91, so not all sales are counted.
As of January 10, 2007:
Exodus
* Bonded By Blood - 32,000
* Pleasures of the Flesh - 20,000
* Fabulous Disaster - 68,000
* Impact is Imminent - 20,000
Good Friendly Violent Fun (live) - 24,000
Lessons In Violence (best of) - 21,000
Force of Habit - 52,000
Another Lesson in Violence (live) - 8,700
Tempo of the Damned - 27,000
Shovel Headed Kill Machine - 23,000

All the album up till Impact were released before the start of the soundscan era, so those sales are after that point, around '92 or something. So what you see are, for instance, what Bonded has sold since then.

^^^ Exactly what I was thinking Gary, don't think we would have seen Pleasures if Bonded only sold 32,000. Especially in a time when people actually payed for music...

Actually it probably would've come out, as record companies were more likely to take a chance on a band back then, unlike today's "no hit single, get dropped" mentality. Exodus made quite a name for themselves with BBB.

Record companies were seen as huge greedy corporate unaccesible giants.
They made HUUUUUGE profits, Artsits were like slaves. No wonder no one buys music anymore, people had enough of this savage abuse. We all know it costs 3$ to edit a CD and the RC sell them at 20$!!!!!!!

Pleasures and Fabulous hit 100K in the US. Still impressive the post-SS figures...I'm disappointed with the TOTD and SHKM figures though, shoulda gone on over 50K in today's climate...fuck, they're platinum records in my books...fuck the masses.

It's criminal how little coverage Exodus get in the UK!!! Unless they release an album (which is never a main feature release anyway!) or tour, the media dont give a fuck!
It's even more unbelievable in todays metal climate, especially when Exodus has far more superior sounding albums than any of the so-called 'big four' thrash bands (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax), that they are not given the credit they so rightly deserve!!!! *banghead*
If the masses aint interested, then they are the one's missing out!!!! *banger* *banger* *banger*

With a sound like EXODUS', in the hands of the right people, given to the right people, their new albums should be kicking in fucking doors.
WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!!!
Is it possible marketing could be more AGGRESSIVE !!!!
eg. nothing on I-Tunes
*banghead* *banghead* *banghead*
Wishing you more success,

Those are ridiculously low ball numbers all across the board
I know for fact that I bought 3 CD's of III and I wasn't the only one in my little one horse town at the time
And if only 23,000 CD's and the like of SHKM were sold then shame on Nuclear Blast for not promoting it properly bc that's the best CD I've bought in the thrash genre for far too long
Are they not getting it out there or have people really become that disconnected with real music?

That's very interesting...
But how is ALIV only 8700 copies? Even in my country that was album of the year on some metal radio shows at the time. That just doesn't sound right

I'm very curious to see Europe's Sale Tallies. Let's face it, the U.S. probably has low figures compared to Europe. *crosses fingers to see results*

But, if you read the replies particularly the one from gary666 whom is none other than Gary Holt himself you should not need any sources for the numbers posted in 2007 as Gary confirmed them.

That's true, it don't get more reliable than Holt himself. Man I wish these guys were given the respect they deserve among Metal they usually known just for being the band that Kirk Hammet was in before Metallica. Today Exodus makes Metallica look like Great White/Poison or as The late Paul Baloff would put it: POSERS!
