no Florida dates. Bands keep playing the same major cities then they wonder why attendance is low.

King Diamond played the same venue here last year and sold out the show. A lot of people I knew were looking for tickets. I'm sure they will sell out again. Having a local favorite like Exodus can only help here.

ehhh I miss seeing Exodus headlining tours. Gonna have to pass on seeing them again. Its just not worth driving 3 or more hours to see a opening set.

You know the past few years I've seen A LOT of people online all the time bitching about no shows in Florida. I'm beginning to wonder if that's another sad side of the business these days that's it become financially risky for bands to go that far south. Maybe its too risky or costly I don't know. Just an idea. I feel bad as I see it over and over and over again from people down there!

Well after Atlanta, there isn't much as far as a major city until you get to the Tampa Bay Area or Orlando, which are both an 8 hour drive south. Driving 8 hours to play to a small club <300 capacity is probably not worth it $$$.

I missed Exodus's set. The line to get in the venue stretched down the block and around the corner. By the time I got in, they were done. Oh well, I'd rather see Exodus with G.

It was like a reunion for Bay Area metalheads. I saw tons of people I hadn't seen in a long time. Rick Hunolt was there.

Edit: Setlist

   

1.
Exodus
2.
Blood In, Blood Out
3.
Body Harvest
4.
Impaler
5.
Blacklist

6.
Bonded by Blood
7.
The Toxic Waltz
8.
Strike of the Beast

Anyone going to the show in NYC Sat night?

Glad to see they changed the setlist up a bit, but there are way better songs than Blacklist.

Mostly slamming Exodus in interviews and making music with rapper Run DMC. You asked.

Generation Kill had a show scheduled in the Bay Area. It got cancelled. I think they had a few other shows that got cancelled also.

That sucks you missed exodus but sounds like a good time seeing old friends. Well that's a different set list!!!! Not sure if I'm gonna see this tour or not. Sadly none of the off dates where they are doing headline shows are no where close to me. Plus its weird with no Gary there. I just really want a headlining tour with Gary but I guess that ain't happening any time soon sadly.

King Diamond, 11/21/15, by yours truly.
Exodus played the same set list both nights, except the second night they opened with "Deranged" From Pleasures be instead of "Exodus". Zet sounded amazing.

Exodus "Deranged" - 11/21/15

Did Rick perform with them? Does he even play guitar anymore?

It sucks that we don't hear anything about the guy anymore. His guitar playing is so unique and definitely missed.

I wouldn't blame him. I'd be fucking stoked to see Hunolt back in Exodus as well.
...And I really hope I'm not stepping over the line here, but Lee's solos just don't do it for me...it's unmemorable generic shredding. He's a good songwriter though.

I didn't hear anything about Rick playing. He was just part of the audience.

Nice vids, but where is the pit? It is never that calm when Exodus plays in the Bay Area.

The KC show was monstrous. It seems since they started doing tours without Gary they've been sprucing up their setlist, because they played a lot of songs I really didn't think I would hear live. They brought out Deranged, Impaler, The Ballad of Leonard and Charles, and some others. It was a much cooler set IMO than last time they rolled through here.

While I was talking to Zet after the show he said Rick doesn't really play guitar that well anymore, and that's partly why they got Kragen out to do the tour, which confused me.

Sorry that I had to miss this tour. Will have to check out some videos soon. I'm not that big a fan of KD but all the internet chatter I have seen has really been positive so curious to check out some stuff from this tour of them also. Just came at a really bad time for me. Still keeping my fingers crossed for a Exodus headlining run here sooner than later.

Deranged? Really? Damn glad to see them mixing up the setlists some. That is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
