Here's a real good interview with Lee and Gary:

http://www.premierguitar.com/articles/2 ... -lee-altus

It goes a lot into detail about the gear they used on the record, sadly not enough IMO, but it also gives a bit of further insight into the firing of Rob.

^^ Thanks for the link - that's yet another quite informative interview, with interesting insight into Gary and Lee's gear, Exodus' songwriting process, etc.

Just reading about his firing and all that...makes me sad.

I bought the BIBO DigiPak today and am about to watch the bonus DVD.

Ted

EDIT: I didn't know or recall beforehand how long the DVD is but was hoping it was at least 45 mins long. Boy was I ever pleased to find out that it's about 2 1/2 times that length - 133 mins + That's almost 2 hours and 15 mins.!! Amazing!!!

P.S. I've watched about half of the DVD so far and it is obviously very insightful.

Well, I can see how as someone gets older they get tired of thrash music.

Interesting that both (Gary and Lee) used the Kemper Profiler on this amazing record...
The Kemper seems to get the new "Non plus Ultra"...

I do. Like I said, a friend from Japan hooked me up with the song and I already gave it to one of you all already.

If anyone wants it, just send me a PM with your email address and I will send it from my email address.

/\/\ Great cover, thanks for the link. I'm gradually wading through the DVD so the cover is only the 2nd complete song I've listened to from BIBO. And of course it's a bonus track.

his crown dejour was Dr. Octagon "Dr. Octagonecologyst" producer. That's a bizarre hiphop ride with lyrics from the future that would seem like something I'd write after a 3 day percocet / xanax/ Ballentine hoorah. On one song he just bursts into a prose of Cristopher Cross "Sailing" song...No apparent reason or motive. He's coockie like that. Also the best DJ in the world DJ Qbert did the scratching on that LP so it was top notch on all levels.
