Two things wrong with this. No show anywhere close listed, and no Exodus.

While I admit that Exodus would be a killer addition to that lineup, what's 'wrong' about that?

It's a "Big Four" tour, and while Exodus were incredibly influential, they've never really been considered part of the 'big four'

Seems perfectly legitimate to me.

Besides, you want two thrash tyrants together, should have caught the Kreator/Exodus tour that happened just recently. I'd much rather see Exodus with Kreator (again) than I would with any of the bands mentioned from this current tour.

But hey, that's just me.

Truer words were never spoken, though you know Kreator and Exodus would be shafted as far as time-slots go because Megadeth and Testament are bigger, and thus more profitable names. That's the main reason I don't really get too excited about the thoughts of these kinds of shows. Though I won't deny that I'd go to that if it ever happened.

Wasn't there a similar tour in Australia? Kreator, Exodus, Testament, and I think Heathen or something? Something like that, all I know is I was pretty jealous of Australians when I heard about that.

They're playing here... So I will go see it....... only for Slayer and Megadeth...
Metallica just suck live and anthrax.. and that aint no anthrax

Last years line up with mastodon and Down was imo way better...

I gotta say, I'm thinking of going down to Poland to see this, though it is a historical event.. we'll see but I want to see Slayer during this tour, since WPB it their best release in a lot of years.. and Mastodon there as well.. plus the booze in Poland is damn cheap compaired to Sweden *exclamation*

.. and I think they have employed nice looking chicks in many clubs just to attract people to get inside.. NOT common over here unfortunaly

As much as i'd love to see this line-up together, i'd rather they had done it back in the day than now!!!

Apart from Slayer the rest of the bands do not have the original line-up's who were there playing thrash metal back in those glory days!!!

I'd rather remember the big four as they were and not now.

And I love Metallica, but they are not thrash any longer (or have been since the 80's). Neither are Anthrax with Bush-era material (and Bush is my preferred choice in that band).

It's like $ 75 for a standing ticket.. and twice as much for a "golden circle" one.. I'm not sure if I'm going yet though.. have to check with some friends first if they're interested..

Metallica Megadeth Slayer Anthrax Mastodon Rammstein Alice in Chains Manowar, Heaven & Hell..

this is the Metal Year for IStanbul

I'll also see Lamb of God, Nevermore, Overkill, Obituary, Heaven shall burn, Sepultura, Hail, Flotsam&Jetsam, and Sacred Reich, and Necrophagist :mrgreen:

If I could see exodus live with these bands, I would be waayyy more happier :neutral:

Anybody else catch the show in the Theater? I checked out the San Bruno showing and had a great time. Probably around 100 or so people there and the audience was really into it considering it was shown in a movie theater. It was nice to drive only 3 miles, not pay for parking, watch the show and still be back home at a reasonable hour on a Tuesday night.

it crossed my mind to go to my closest theater, but I thought it was too expensive so I ended up watching some world cup soccer instead..
