hi guys,

my first post here and I hope it's one you like.
I made a guitar pro 4 file for two songs: Burn Hollywood Burn and Riot Act.

You can find them over here:
http://www.2shared.com/file/Z7ABj5xs/Ex ... t_Act.html
http://www.2shared.com/file/LLR3u9ov/Ex ... _Burn.html
Let me know if you like them, if you have any corrections, if you have any guitar pro or text file tabs yourself.

cheers!!

I'm definitely interested in checking them out but I can't download them! Every time I go to grab it a fucking ad comes up and that's it.

hmm, i checked the links and they work fine for me. There is however a slight possibility you clicked one of the many deceiving buttons out there. See in this picture where to actually get the files:

If that doesn't do the job for you I'll re-upload to wherever you'd like :)

Holy fuck do I feel retarded now *lol*

Awesome dude I grabbed them. I can't believe 1, that I missed that link, and 2, that there's so many bullshit download options on that page.

Good job though! Everything sounds real good on there. Think you'll do Garden of Bleeding or Leonard and Charles?

Leonard and Charles is a song I absolotely want to do, I'll see how far I can get with that one. Also working on some other songs.
I somewhere found you had some text tabs online for a while but they are down now. Could you maybe put them back online? I'd hate to do songs that are already worked out haha

Years ago I did a shit load of Exodus, pretty much all of Shovel Headed Kill Machine and maybe half of Tempo, lots of Bonded, other stuff...

My hard drive crashed a while back and I lost a lot. Looking for anything in particular? They probably all need to be refined slightly, my ear wasn't what it is nowadays.

main song I was looking for is Deathamphetamine, found some semi-nice guitar pro and text tabs at Ultimate Guitar I think, but I wanted to make a good one, though the song is very hard I think.

Have you seen the picture I posted above with a big red circle around the right download link??
Next time I'll upload anything I will try a different filehost, any suggestions??

ultimate-guitar.com would be a good place I think. Big site, has lots of everything, it should get it out there to the masses.

Deathamphetamine, I definitely know this has some mistakes in there, but here you go.

Everything sounds good dude, good job! I hope to see and hear some more soon! I don't have the time I used to to sit around and figure out albums at a time and tab it all out. I miss the workout it gave my ear but time's short for me.

If you find some (small) mistakes, don't hesitate to let me know what's correct

@Slayer71, give me a few hours and I'll convert to PDF, does that work for you??

Awesome thanks heaps the PDF versions work ok.

Really appreciate your help, looking forward to Leonard & Charles that's a killer song.

Have you got many other tabs floating around or online there's a couple different songs from different bands I wouldn't mind, depending if you have the time and also the music.

Cheers again.

I suck at tabbing shit out. No patience....but I got some good starts from the ones you have up, thanks much!!!

I just figured out parts of March of the Psycophants, if you guys are down I'll take some vids and youtube 'em in various speeds. I'm sure they're not perfect but my buddy that came over the other day thought I was pretty damn close.

BTW, Gary is the master of making pentatonic riffs heavy and brutal!!

So I got most riffs down, but the rhythm under the solo's are a pain in the ass, anyone got an idea? The thing that annoys me most is the fact that it's just 2 of 3 very short riffs which keep repeating all the way thr
ugh the solo's but I can't find them.. :(

Hey man put up what you have, I'll see what I can do to finish what you need! Once I get an idea and feel of the song's other riffs its pretty easy.

here's my first vid attempt....kind of shaky camera but you get the point:

March of the Sycophants: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u207Nsod7Nc

Excerpts from Impaler:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IejJKuCJ_Pg

I think next time I'll turn the tunes up a little louder and put the room light on....the next one I work on will be Nanking....

Hey man put up what you have, I'll see what I can do to finish what you need! Once I get an idea and feel of the song's other riffs its pretty easy.

ok, here's what I have now:

the solo rhythm seems similar to the verse riff to me, but I'm not totally sure. Hope you can tell me

sweet man, would also like to see what you could come up with for iconoclasm when the smoke clears for your current workload of tabbing lol.

so right now I'm doing 7 (!!!) exodus tabs at the same time

Children of a Worthless God should be up soon, adding drums a.t.m.
Leonard & Charles: nice progress, waiting for Vic's comments
Bedlam: some timing issues to solve and drums to add
Downfall: HELP :( somebody please help with the chorus, it's driving me insane
the other 3 are in the beginning stages
